Adding a front mount trailer hitch to the front of your Silverado, it's going to allow you to do a couple of different things. First and foremost, a lot of people like to use this for a front-mounted winch. If you've got it on a hitch plate, you can slide it in there and use it whenever you're off-roading or stuff like that. more

Today we have a 2023 Chevy Silverado 3,500 and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver. A few reasons of why people install front mount hitches on their trucks is you may wanna haul a bike rack on the front or a cargo carrier, maybe a front mount winch or something that might surprise you is even a snowplow on the front. Now as far as weight capacity goes for this hitch you're gonna have a 500 pound max tongue weight capacity which is the downward pressure on the inside of the receiver tube. This comes in handy if you are using those bike racks or cargo carriers. You wanna be sure to not overload the front mount hitch. more

EcoHitch Front Mount Trailer Hitch Installation - 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 3500- Video
Hello, neighbors, it's Brad, here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look and installing the EcoHitch Front Hitch on a 2022 Chevy Silverado 3500. Now this is what the front hitch is gonna look like when it's installed. And it does require some trimming to get this nice, clean look, but really it sits really well on the front bumper. And the recommendations as far as cutting goes, they've done a fine job of really making this nice and clean and you still have the air dam that goes under. So it looks really factory almost and it protrudes just a little bit, but just enough to be able to get your accessories in without looking to unsightly. more

In fact, you can see that our EcoHitch here we're actually cutting out where the bumper or the license plate bracket goes and it's gonna live pretty high and that's gonna involve cutting out the front bumper. Today, our 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, you're going to be taking a look at, I'm going to show you how to install the Curt front mount trailer hitch. This is what our hitch is going to look like when it's installed on our vehicle. You can see our cross tube is completely hidden behind the lower section of our fascia. All we can see is the receiver tube. It's going to be great for carrying things on the front of our vehicle like our snow plows, bike racks, cargo carriers, and even spare tire holders.It's going to give us a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, reinforced collar gives us a little extra stability there. Hitch pin holes, going to 5/8 inch in diameter. more

This is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. As you can see it's completely behind our front bumper. It's going to be a two-inch by two-inch. It's going to have a 5/8-inch hitch pinhole. This hole here in the front is gonna be for a J-pin stabilization device only. more

Kevin: Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitch options available for the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. We'll start with the Draw-Tite here. This is part number 65068, and we'll follow that up with the Curt, part number C31023. Both of these hitches are going to offer a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening that will be available to us at the front of our vehicle. The most typical applications are going to be for mounting a winch in there, potentially. Sometimes people like to use spare tire racks off the front of the vehicle. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the best front hitch options for your 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. Up top we've got the Curt Part# C31071. Then on the bottom we've got the Draw Type Part# 65078. The biggest difference that we're going to see between these two hitches, is going to be one mounted on the truck where the receiver tube is going to be located. On the Draw Type it's going to give us a higher ground clearance. It's going to come further out towards the front of the bumper. It's going to give us more clearance with out accessories away from that front bumper. We've got a Curt mounted on this truck here. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the best front hitch options for your 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. Up top we've got the Curt, part number C31071. Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, we're going to be taking a look at, and also showing you how to install, the CURT front mounted trailer hitch receiver. This is a custom fit that offers a 2" x 2" opening. The part number is C31023. This is what our hitch is going to look like installed. As you can see, pretty clean appearance. As you can see, most of it remains hidden behind our front fascia, here. In the middle, we've got our 2-inch by 2-inch receiver tube opening. more
